Did you know that humans have between 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day? Did you also know that a whopping 80% of our thoughts are actually negative. That’s a whole lot of disempowering inner dialogue we have going on!

Our thoughts shape our reality every minute of everyday and in the same way you think that you can do something, you can also convince yourself that you can’t.

At Think Like a Boss our mindset comes first. We’re a firm believer of using affirmations which are short powerful statements, that help you take conscious control of your thoughts. Affirmations are generally written and repeated in the present tense and start with “I Am”. A good example would be to say: “I am confident” or “I am loved” or “I can do anything I set my mind to”.

The saying goes that when you say, think or even hear affirmations, they become the thoughts that create your reality. Affirmations, are therefore your conscious thoughts and are vital in the reprogramming of your mind.

Today I’m sharing with you a list of our favourite morning affirmations to start your day the right way:
